The Cube

A small world people can enter and change.

The Cube is MOVE's first shared-space platform: a bounded physical environment with enough structure to begin and enough freedom for the people inside it to decide what happens next.

The physical idea

The boundary creates the container. It does not supply the answer.

The frame establishes a place. Elastic cords make the interior changeable. Targets give attention somewhere to land. Other people make the situation impossible to predict completely.

A participant can pull, reach, throw, duck, rearrange, watch, talk, hesitate, leave, return, or invent something nobody planned. Each action changes what somebody else encounters.

We don't tell people how to play. We give them somewhere to play.

One system, several forms

The frame is one deployment method.

01

Freestanding Cube

A contained, movable installation for pilots, demonstrations, sessions, events, and shared facilities.

02

Room retrofit

Walls, ceilings, floors, or mounting rails become the frame for cords and targets inside an existing room.

03

Custom environment

A larger installation designed around the building, the operating context, and the people expected to use it.

Open does not mean unbounded

Agency lives inside real safety conditions.

There is no prescribed game, but the physical environment still has operating limits. Installation, clearance, supervision, accessibility, inspection, and site rules are designed for the actual setting.

Participants retain ownership of their response. A facilitator may protect safety, alter a condition, or offer an invitation without deciding what the person must perceive, choose, feel, or accomplish.

Nonparticipation is also a response. Nobody has to be converted from watching into entering for the experience to count.

The Cube is the pilot. The environment is the platform.
